Goodreads Synopsis: BE WHO YOU ARE. When people look at George, they think they see a boy. But she knows she’s not….
My Thoughts: This book was simple but beautiful. Since it is targeted towards a middle grade audience the writing was very simple but the topic is an extremely important one and I am so happy that a book like this exists for the younger generation. This is an own voices book as well. The author did such an amazing job at making you feel the same things that our main character was feeling. This book definitely lived up to all of the hype surrounding it for me. I recommend this book to everyone regardless of your age, gender or what gender you identify as.
