Goodreads SynopsisFor too long, Violet and the people of the outer circles of the Lone City have lived in service to the royalty of the Jewel. But now the secret society known as the Black Key is preparing to seize power.

My Thoughts: It took me forever to get through this not because I didn’t like it, but because I just had no time to read. However, I feel like this was a great conclusion to the trilogy. The growth that the main character goes through between the first book and this one is great. She turns in to a pretty strong person after everything she has to go through. She ends up being extremely brave and doing what she needed to do. The story itself progressed nicely. I feel like the pacing of the story was good as well. Things wrapped up nicely and it ended in a good spot. I do think that an epilogue would have been nice to have just so we can see how things are a month or so after the events that took place in the book. I highly recommend this trilogy to you guys though, it’s definitely a good one!
