Series Sunday: The Lunar Chronicles

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2) Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3) Winter (The Lunar Chronicles, #4)

Goodreads Synopsis for CinderHumans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, a ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth’s fate hinges on one girl.

Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future.

This is one of my all time favorite series. I just finished reading Winter and now I am so sad that this series is over now. This series is a sci-fi retelling type series. You can tell by the covers which fairy tale inspired each book and character. I love all of the characters, except Levana, her I just love to hate. Cinder, Scarlet, Cress and Winter are all fantastic characters and all of the other main cast of characters are fantastic as well. The settings in this series are fabulous. I honestly can’t rave about this series enough. This is one of the series I will be rereading again in the future because I love it so much!

Yay! The books just get better and better. Just wait until you get to Winter! Oh, and make sure you read Fairest as well, the book about Levana. I found it really helped me understand her better.
