The White Rose by Amy Ewing

The White Rose (The Lone City, #2)Date Published: October 6, 2015

Dates Read: 11/08/15-11/10/15

Rating: 4 stars

Goodreads SynopsisThe White Rose is a raw, captivating sequel to The Jewel that fans won’t be able to put down until the final shocking moments.

My Thoughts: I most definitely liked this book better than the first one. The main character, Violet, grows and matures so much in this book. This book has a lot more action and more goes on in this book than the first book. The only main complaint I have is the ending. Just like in The Jewel, something happens and then the book just ends. I can’t even classify it as a cliffhanger. It’s like  a huge part of the story happens and it just stops with no explanation or other words. It just ends in a place that doesn’t feel like a good ending spot for the book. I will be picking up book three for sure because I am dying to know what happens after the way things ended in this one.
